It's not just about the weight of the bike; a carbon frame also absorbs vibrations when riding, reducing fatigue on your muscles. Another key feature is its durability. Unlike aluminium frames, the torsional stiffness remains the same. So the frame doesn't age and is as strong on day one as it is after ten years.
